Meet the team
This site was created, and is maintained by Jisc’s Further Education and Skills team, the members are as follows:
The team is headed by Karla Youngs. Karla has nearly twenty years’ experience within the higher education sector in developing and delivering digital media related services and projects. She has led teams in developing applied research activities, information resources and training and consultancy to clients across FE and skills, HE and the cultural heritage sector.
Pete Collins the manager of further education and skills services digital resources team, guiding the team, the service and project management functions within the Further Education and Skills area. Pete has been with Jisc for many years, previously supporting the Jorum Open Educational Resources repository before moving into this role.
Andrew Jackson is the FE & Skills Co-ordinator. He has an MSc in Information and Library studies from the University of Strathclyde and twenty years’ experience in the library profession. Andrew began his career as IT Librarian and Library Services Manager at the Glasgow College of Building and Printing (now City of Glasgow College) before specializing in large-scale library management system projects and staff training in the NHS and Higher Education. He is the first line of support for e-book queries.
